M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan Degree Programmes - 2015-16 GUIDELINES TO FILL-UP THE APPLICATION FORM

Admission to M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan degree programmes offered in the University Department of Anna University, Government Aided Engineering

College and for the seats surrendered by the Self – Financing Engineering Colleges under the unified Single Window Admission System for Indian Nationals.

A.	TANCA 2015 Online Application Form is available only at the URL www.annauniv.edu/tanca2015
B.	Create a login by registering at the above mentioned URL. This login is required to fill-in the application details.
C.	Applicants applying for more than one category should repeat process mentioned from D to H for each category
D.	Demand Draft (DD) for Rs.500/- for General Category (Rs. 250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu). D.D should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Common Admissions, Anna University, Chennai”, payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalised bank drawn on or after 22-06-2015. (separate DD for each category applied for)
E.	Login using the registered login ID and fill in the applicant’s details along with the DD particulars by choosing appropriate category (GATE/TANCET/Sponsored) . Also, upload a recently taken good quality photograph in the respective field of size less than 500 KB.
F.	Download the generated application form for the selected category ( GATE/TANCET/Sponsored) from the Online Application System.
G.	Enclose self-attested photocopies of the following documents: 1)    X Std. Mark Sheet 2)    XII Std. Mark Sheet or diploma (3 years) Certificate 3)    Qualifying Degree Certificate, provisional certificate and mark sheets of all the semesters or consolidated mark sheet. (Copy of both sides should be furnished) 4)    Transfer certificate from the institution last studied
	5)    Valid GATE 2015 score card for GATE (Engineering / Technology) category 6)    Valid GATE 2015 score card and TANCET 2015 hall ticket for GATE (Engineering Science XE / Life Science XL) category 7)    TANCET 2015 hall ticket for Non-GATE category and for sponsored category 8)    Permanent Community Card in card format or electronic form / digitally signed e-certificate format for BC/BC Muslim/ MBC/ DNC/ SC/ SCA/ ST applicants belonging to Tamil Nadu (if applicable) 9)    Certificate of Disability for Differently Abled Person (if applicable) 10)Nativity Certificate only in electronic form / digitally signed ecertificate ( if applicable ) 11)Copy of Identification certificate obtained from the Head Quarters Tahshildars or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (for Srilankan Refugee candidates) 12)Experience Certificate (if applicable)
H.	Download the Application Cover Page (A4 size) and paste it over the A4 size cover for sending the application.
I.	Application form printout, all applicable enclosures mentioned above, and DD should be kept inside an A4 size cover and send to “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Common Admissions, Anna University, Chennai -600 025”.
